I started KDR PR in 2011 with the goal of making an impact in public education. Building on years in corporate communications for life science companies, I networked my way into K-16 education and built a new client base working with dozens of schools and educational organizations managing communication strategy and public outreach efforts.

Shortly after launching KDR PR, I co-founded STEAMConnect with UCSD Extension and built a global community of STEAM enthusiasts driven to change how we think about STEM, arts and creativity in education. Through monthly events, informational newsletters and two large-scale conferences, I became a go-to resource for STEAM education.

Once embedded in K-12 education, I led external outreach for an innovative, 5-year, $10 million grant at a large public high school in San Diego County. With an inside look at the complex challenges public schools face, I was inspired to create Leading with Clarity in 2019, a coaching program and online course to support education leaders.

After a transformative few years, I’m currently focusing my attention on community-minded brands, providing communication strategy and writing support while I pursue new creative writing projects.
