KDR PR & STEAMConnect are going to be at SXSWedu this year in Austin, Texas!

On March 11 from 2:00-4:00 PM, we are teaming up with David Delgado, Designer from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Saura Naderi, Career Development Specialist from Qualcomm, to facilitate a STEAM Session highlighting projects and programs that have progressed the STEAM movement in Southern California. #SoCalSTEAM

    Description: Arts Orange County’s 6th annual Creative Edge Lecture features Sarah Lewis. Lewis recently published The Rise: Creativity, the Gift of Failure, and the Search for Mastery, which disects how our negative or failed experiences can furnish the ground for incredible transformations.

    Lewis is on the faculty of the Yale School of Art as a critic in both the Photography and Painting/Printmaking Departments. She has served on President Barack Obama's Arts Policy Committee and was selected for Oprah's 2010 "Power List." She is also an active curator, having held positions at both the Tate Modern and The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
